Bo
Bo was put to sleep on April 16, 2008, due to failing health. In his final year, he was arthritic and losing his eyesight and hearing due to age. Other problems led to his failing health and ultimately to the decision to end his suffering.
About Me
I'm a Lhasa Apso, normally, with the long blond fur. But I don't like getting groomed, so every now and then Mom and Dad have me shaved along with my dental treatments. That's why you see some photos of me with a buzz cut.
My mom and dad got me when I was about a year old from Mom's parents who got me from someone her mom worked with. Long story. Anyway, this year (2008) I'm 17 years old. That's about 90 to you humans. Yep, that makes me a really grumpy old man. (Contrary to popular belief, dogs do not age seven years uniformly for every human year. It starts at an accelerated rate but slows down as the years go by. My mom found this page to be most helpful in determining a dog's age, because it takes into account the fact that smaller breeds tend to age slower. Smaller breeds = lower weights.)
Mom found some photos of me when I was that year old pup, so when she gets it created from the slides and copied to the computer, you'll get to see me as that young pup. Ah, the fun times of youth! Those were the days...
