Razzle's Story

She is back home now, though not in the way we had all hoped.

Image of Razzle, a female Shar Pei missing in Roseville, CA

Razzle

Razzle is a 15-year-old female, spayed Shar Pei. She is actually lighter in color than what you see in the photo to the left but she is brown. She has a little gray in the muzzle. She is a medium size dog, the size in between an adult Beagle and an adult Labrador.

Razzle is arthritic, deaf due to age, has a skin condition and needs medication.

She escaped from the backyard of her home in west Roseville, California, on New Year's Eve day (12/31/2006) between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. when someone left the backyard gate open.

When she was found missing that evening, her family went searching for her and found only one person who claimed to have seen Razzle near a preserve near Woodcreek High School in Roseville. They could not find her.

My sister and her family have been searching ever since, posting fliers with a reward for her return everywhere they could. There has been no response so far.

Someone is holding onto her, for whatever reasons. Please return Razzle to her first family. Razzle's being out in the freezing cold that day was an accident, not intentional. Don't punish Razzle and her human family by keeping her. Return her. Please.
